Ronaldo shared the results of a study conducted using devices from the company Whoop, a leader in wearable health and performance tracking technology, for which CR7 is an ambassador. The devices measured his physiological metrics such as heart rate, heart rate variability, and other indicators, providing data on strain, recovery, and sleep. The comparison between Ronaldo’s physiological and biological age produced surprising results.
“I can’t believe it’s that good… 28.9 years,” Ronaldo reportedly told Will Ahmed after discovering he is biologically more than 11 years younger.
Following the medical revelation, Ronaldo jokingly stated: “That means I will play football for another 10 years.”
The Whoop wristband used in the study is designed by leading experts in human performance and is widely used by elite athletes. It provides detailed data on sleep, exertion, stress, recovery, and over 140 other metrics to help determine what most impacts an athlete’s performance.
